The ESL ran a poll to decide which game was their most popular, for the Major Series VII with; CoD4, Counter-Strike: Source, WarCraft 3 and many other games fans representing their respective games in mass.

Surprisingly after the competitive scene had appeared to have wilted, CoD4 pulled away with the majority of the votes, netting an extra 1000 euro’s for the prize distribution in CoD4 for this major series - due to it achieving first place with massive support.

This brings the total prize pot for CoD4 to 3000 euro’s.

We have counted the votes and tagged matches, calculated them in to percentages, combined the two so we have determined the winner of our expensive poll:

Call of Duty 4! It came out on top in both the votes and tags convincingly and so ESL Major Series VII Call of Duty 4 receives a prizemoney distribution of 3,000 Euros instead of 2,000! Congratulations to the community and the admin team, their efforts were tremendous.

This is a great result for Call of Duty 4 fans and a boost for E-Sports!
