Following a number of faults with the i40 internet connection, along with some Robert Green-esque server handling skills, the CSS, CoD4 and TF2 competitions have been delayed until Saturday at 10am.

VATIC's representatives from both our Counter-Strike Source and Call of Duty 4 UK teams will have to battle an early start and a full day of solid, competitive gaming in a challenging environment in the hope of progressing through the group stages. The fun won't stop there though, as the Event Admins are likely to enforce a tight schedule for the elimination brackets to make up for lost time.

Most frustrated will be our CoD4 side, who arrived early on the Thursday to put in the practice hours, only to find no internet connection available. With any luck the enthusiasm they've shown so far, along with the quiet confidence of our CSS boys, we'll be able to turn this into a very successful event.
