Sums it up very well and yes the amount of time Jonesy said the word "keen" was f**king ridiculous. That kid seriously needs a new vocabulary.

The following article is the overall high's and low's of insomnia40 (i40) in my view (Frantx).
The arrival - Straight from the start they had problems, as we drove into the event there was only two members of staff waiting by the gate, they didn't say a word to us, didn't direct us or tell us where to go, so we just went straight through. To find a place to park was a bit of a problem aswell, considering they knew there was going to be at least 2,000 contestants and not having enough parking facilities proves how poorly the event was planned out. The que was rather big for the tickets, which is expected at such an event and to be fair to the staff they were very helpful and friendly.
The schedule and the group format - Obviously this was one of the biggest downfall of the whole event, in which the matches were moved back to the saturday in which we (the cod4 team) played 10-11 hours straight of cod4, including groups and knockout rounds, this in my eyes its truly awful. I mean most teams are used to playing 3-4 games a night if that, and to play 11 hours straight in one day its ridiculous, towards the end and the last couple of games I honestly couldn't be bothered to play. Moving on to the group format, I personally think that because of the delay they should have had more groups with less teams, but that is a personal opinion.
Multiplay staff - As a whole the Multiplay staff were awful. I have already mentioned that they had good points, but the tournament staff were truly awful. Some decisions made (not just the one towards us) were poor, there were many incidents that happened over the weekend that could have been avoided if the multiplay staff actually listened to the players talking. Also the fact that there was so many staff around, but you would ask them a simple question such as 'Do you have a spare internet cable' they would give you a stupid answer such as 'What is an internet cable?'.
Internet - Of course this was the downfall of the event, the fact that at least 1,300 people paid for early arrival and didn't get internet until 1:30 in the morning put a damper on the fact you turned up a day early. Throughout the event the internet was bad, not being able to connect to .eu servers, and when you could you would get around 150 ping and couldn't actually play. An example is, at the last round of our first game at the event, the internet went down and wasn't able to play the round. The fact that the internet kept going down was poor aswell. Only upside to the internet (and I'm struggling to find one) is that when you played vs teams at the event, the ping was fine.
Stands - The stands of course were delayed opening (isn't it great?!), and compareed to other events i've been too, there was a very small amount of them. Mind you, the staff on the stands were helpful especially the guy on the product stand, he was friendly and helpful. The highlight of the stands was the hot girl handing out leaflets that didn't have a clue what she was handing out, or where she was.
Shoutcasting - The COD4 shoutcasters were awful, I wanted to rip my ears off they were that bad, after the game all I had in my head was 'keen' considering the amount of times the casters said it. Although I did watch the TF2 stream and I have to say that the shoutcasters were very good there. Finally I couldn't go without saying, that Crossy is an amazing shoutcaster <3
Highlight of the event for me - Seeing Shaney on the floor on the thursday night:)
Thank you for reading.

watched the 1st 10mins of the cod4 stream and just turned it off, the shoutcasters were so bland and had such a boring monotone voice.
the source admins were good, just some decisions along the way are bit stupid, and the internet was a joke haha
